This is a ride planned for the easter long weekend break. There are already 4 starters for this trip and i would like to get a group of about 8 together. The daily average mileage is approx. 400+km (give or take a couple of hundred :-) with lots of corners, varying road conditions and speeds, so this trip will be suited to those who have a bike that can go the distance and are confortable with riding long day trips.
I would like to finalise accomodation bookings by the end of this week, so if you are a definate starter, please let me know. If you want to know more, please dont hesitate to ask.
More information will be available when numbers are finalised and as we get closer to the date.
Rough Route
Thurs: Hume Hwy drone to Tumut on Thurs night, (or all day fun route for
those
with day off).
Friday: SMH to Berridale, then Alpine Way, Khancoban, (turn off to)
Cabramurra, Elliot Way to Tooma, Tintaldra, take the REAL Murray Valley Hwy
to Granya, Tangambalanga, Mt Beauty.
Sat: Falls Ck, (dirt to) Angler's Rest, Omeo, Dinner Plain, Hotham Heights,
Bright, Mt Buffalo, Myrtleford, Running Ck Road to Running Creek, Mt Beauty.
Sun: Towonga Gap, Hotham Heights, Dinner Plain, Omeo, Bruthen, Orbost, Cann
River, Cann Valley Hwy, (turn off to) Mt Imlay Rd, Eden, Merimbula, Tathra.
Mon: Bega, Candelo, Wyndham, Cathcart, Bombala, SMH, Brown Mtn, Bemboka,
Princes Hwy home.
Staying at:
THURS: Royal Hotel/Motel - Tumut
FRI + SAT: Snowview Apts - Mt Beauty
SUN: Tathra Hotel/motel - Tathra
