Stay Upright have faxed me some additional details on the Advanced course. They like to have about 20 riders on the course. This means that unless we can get agreement from 20 netters/assoc netters on a mid-week course time we'll have to just attend a normal course (which is not exactly a hardship).
Another thing is that since they use a racetrack and a weekend together, they are getting booked out quickly - they already seem to be taking courses for early March...

I've spoken to Stay Upright this morning, and we have to get 15 or more
to have a weekday course. Problem with this is that it is more difficult
for people to attend a weekday course, but it is easier to get a free
circuit. Weekend courses are better for attendance, but getting Amaroo
isn't so easy. Anyway, they have a new course on the 18th Feb. It already
has 5 people on it, so only has room for 15-17 more. Filling fast, you
could say.
So what I'll do is send Stay Upright a cheque for $500, and the first 9
people who get me a cheque for $50 will be on the course. Later cheques will
be returned. Or I can see if there are still vacancies and do the
appropriate things.
(I'm only booking 10 places because in the way of these things some will
drop out).

What has happened so far (03jan95) is that I have paid for
10 deposits for the Feb 18th course. The first 9 other people to get me the
$50 deposit will get their place on that course.
So far (05jan95) I have the following confirmed attendees:
Thomas Cohen (Ducati 900S2) <thos@nms.otc.com.au> Steve Chey (Mike Hailwood Replica) <SChey@nibuisg.ccdn.otc.com.au> Ron Russell (GSXR750H) <RA.Russell@uws.EDU.AU> Colin Panisset <colinp@nms.otc.com.au> Patrick Jordan <pjordan@rp.CSIRO.AU> Mike Wolff (FJ1200) <hinton@geko.com.au> Alastair Rankine (VFR750) <alastair@jolt.mpx.com.au>and verbal commitments from:
David Bilbow (BMW K100RS) <dnb@unitract.dialix.oz.au> Damian Carvolth <damian@dap.CSIRO.AU> (dependent on bike availability)So, only 4 places left that I've booked. The place/person to send the cheques to is:
Thomas Cohen 186 Annandale St Annandale, 2038.I'd prefer it if the cheque was made out to "Munchkin Software Pty Ltd", but if your cheque is already on the way don't worry about it, I'll use it as a company loan or something equally dubious...
If your circumstances have changed and you can no longer attend the course, please let me know and I'll take you off this list.
It may help if you email me as you send your money - so far there has been a fairly deafening silence.

He has reserved about 5 places, so contact him if you'd like to
come to that one.
If it's close to the course date, perhaps it would be better to contact
Stay Upright direct.
