One great Australian tradition is the Toys Runs
that happen all over the country before Christmas,
providing presents for people who wouldn't
otherwise receive anything during the season of giving.
There are Toy Runs just about everywhere

Sydney: Sunday, December 11th
Depart Rosehill Race Course (Grand Avenue) at 11am.
Arrive at Nurragingy Reserve, Doonside.

New England: Saturday, December 3rd
The New England branch of the Ulysses Club will be holding its annual toy run
from the Oasis Hotel, Tamworth, starting at 1pm sharp. Toys and/or tinned food
will be handed over to the Salvation Army for distribution, then riders are
invited to the Imperial Hotel for a post-run gathering. Badges will be
available.

Melbourne: Sunday, December 11th
Runs from Geelong, the Northern suburbs and Western suburbs all meeting at
the corner of Royce St and St Kilda Rd in Melbourne at 11am, then heading off
to St Kilda.

RockHampton: Saturday, December 3rd
Meeting at 2:00pm at the Caltex servive station
on Yaamba Road, North Rockhampton
(opposite Emmaus College).
Depart at 2:30pm for Yeppoon Bush Children's Home.

Perth: Saturday, December 3rd
19th Bikers' Unlimited Charity Ride, leaving the Joseph banks reserve on the
Applecross foreshore promptly at 11am. There's also a Christmas function at
the manning Hotel where there will be various events and a band, starting at
12:30.
Canberra: Saturday, December 10th
Meet at Parliament House at 10am before riding to Garema Place.

Hobart: Saturday, December 3rd
Depart the Derwent Entertainment Centre at 3:30, riding to Salamanca Place in
Hobart via the Brooker Highway and the city. There's a band at Salamanca Place.
Adelaide: Sunday, December 11th
Assemble at the Glenelg car park at the southern end of the Anzac Highway.
The run leaves at 11am for Woodside Oval, where there will be the handover of
toys, bands etc.

Brisbane: Sunday, December 4th
Leaving from opposite the Mt Cootha Botanic Gardens entrance at 9.30am
for Colleges Crossing in Karana Downs.
Donations of toys, non-perishable food,cash etc to help the underprivileged
children of the drought affected areas of Queensland.
Facilities at Colleges Crossing include swimming, food, drinks and barbecues.

Beaudesert, Queensland: Saturday, December 10th
A toy run has been organised by the bike riders at Beaudesert:
it's on Saturday 10th December, meeting at 9am at Shell Jimboomba, riding
to Beaudesert to present toys to the Salvos, then on to lunch at Advancetown
Hotel for those interested.
